The Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Prevention meets patients where they are.
We engage families around treatment options and share clinical trial opportunities capable of improving health. This increases the diversity of representation in clinical research, which is essential to developing inclusive therapies and further informing our community engagement strategies.
Another important piece of the center’s work is to foster research that looks at patient populations to contribute to the evidence-based research literature, with emphasis on Black and Hispanic populations. Research is conducted through the Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities Research at Georgetown University’s Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center.
